i'm depressed upstairs, and i'm remembering where, and when and how...
I just felt the need to update, but I don't really have anything to say.
The truth is, a lot of crap is going on right now that I don't really want to talk about. Not even here. And it isn't just school, or me worrying about the future -- it's an assortment of crap that's seriously making my head hurt. But other than that, I'm still okay, I guess.
Yesterday, though, the com 124.1 presentation seemed to have gotten really good reviews from the rest of the class. Which made me feel really good, and since the dragon lady seemed to appreciate it as well, then it's all good. Congratulations to blue_warlock for having gotten such fine compliments. But since yesterday, something's been stuck in my head. A friend of mine from the class shook his head at me, laughed and said "You guys are fucked up, man."
I don't know why it's stuck in my head. I wasn't insulted by the comment, and I'm sure he didn't mean for it to be an insult. And it's not like I'm bothered, in the sense that I'm worrying over about being called fucked up. But I just can't figure it out, that's all. Maybe it's the irony of it all.
