Taken from the log of Kent Edwards:

It was an interesting evening tonight. After an visited to a club on saturday night, sunday evening was uneventful until the attack. It seems that this form of the disease is acquired by tough. I have placed the victim taken in Sunday night under quarantine to ensure he does not pass the disease. Besides that we went around to the other establishments in question. I sent the glow stick that I acquired from the investigation to the lab and am still waiting from results. Monday night was interesting. We returned to the Ebony Rose for some further questioning. The regular D.J. was not there. He seems a little bit on the odd side but then again so do most of the people at the club. I still don't know how people can stand to listen to that kind of music but then again to each their own. I decided to skip the bar this night, since I didn't really care for the drink I got there the previous night which didn't really agree with me. The manager was also missing. The fill in for the D.J. was looking a little pale. My partner took an aggressive view for her safety, while I made sure a bus was on standby just in case. After several confrontations with one of the bouncer, which I thought for sure would have ended in a fist fight, she was driven home. She took longer than I thought for her to make it back to her place, but the bouncer dropped her off. After waiting to make sure he left to avoid further confrontation, we called in to get a warrant to go and take her in for an examination. After playing good cop bad cop, we were able to convince her to come in for a physical and to give a blood sample. I left her in the hospital, recovering, and I will be back in later to make sure she is alright. I am hoping we caught this disease in its early stages so it can be cured and no one further will fall to it. We will have to wait for the results of the blood test to see for sure though.
