Blubbering Idiot
So I just got off the phone with somone from OUT NOW magazine who was doing an interview about RTE. He called today and wanted to speak with someone and I really wanted to give the interview. Sean told me to refer the interviewer to Christy or Sean but the interviewer wanted to talk to someone right then.
I freaked out. I got total stage fright and felt like the words coming out of my mouth were complete vomit. He was doing an interview about Queer Theatre and asked how or what RTE has done that could fall into that category. I could not think of anything. Grantednothing we have ever done is what I would consider "Queer Theatre" but a lot of shows we have done deal with gender issues but I could not find the way to articualte that properly. I am sure the guy I talked to thinks I am a big freakin dumb ass.
I now have lost any urge I may have had to speak to someone from the press about RTE ever again.
