Mary's parents are in town, which always signifies an abundance of work actually getting done on projects.
Here's what we've started so far:
- Reupholstering the couch. Thus far, after around one day, we have fabric, and an idea.
- Shortening our old table. It doesn't really fit terribly well in our tiny kitchen; so we're chopping off 7.5" from either side of the middle and making it into a pair of leaves. This one will be really nice and is frighteningly close to completion.
- Refinishing an old Victrola cabinet that I picked up for $10 at a garage sale a while ago. The outside is sanded and stained at this point, and the buckling plywood is glued down. We still need to varnish and deal with the middle.
