Mwahaha, that sucks. I got so nervous when my grandma came to visit (mostly cuz of the whole "i forgot most of my spanish cuz no one in our family speaks it on a regular basis" thing). But I do know what you mean about the abuelita/abuelito thing. If I didn't call them that... well, it'd be similar to me starting to call my mom "Celia".
