29 begins now
So Tom and I are leaving today for the Outer Banks....ahhh....I'm so excited to have a whole week (actually over a week) of sunshine and beach. The weather looks to be perfect. I love the Outer Banks because it's not a crowded meat market, it's just a relaxing open beach with very few people. We're taking Rosco there to see the ocean for the first time.
Vacation couldn't have come at a better time. Our company did some very unethical things this week by suddenly dropping all our non-Medicaid clients without warning to them or us. Suddenly all these clients (the majority of which have abandonment issues) were abandoned by us with no transition time or goodbyes. In fact, we don't even get compensated retroactively for our work with them last week! Shitty. The mental health system has a loooooong way to go. But enough about that.

Oh and my birthday was fantastic! Had a great big dinner at Maggianos with about 20 people last Saturday. Then, on my actual birthday, I took the day off to get a massage, hair cut, and do some shopping. Then had a nice big Mexican dinner with my family. Mmm.
