Woo, I feel as though I've been to Hell and back.

It's truly terrifying the dark places the mind can go and not expect to come back. I'm always surprised at how I crumble between November and March. It never fails. My mom told me that every year in mid-February I would suddenly come down with some horrible sickness and be unable to go to school. ( Read more... )

YAY for feeling better! I'm excited for march as well, except at the end there when i will be 25 (I want to skip over this year and just be 26 for some reason). Have you tried to head off this Nov-Mar cloud of sickness? I find booze helps, but admittedly that's not everybody's thing.
And YAY for Santigold! My roommate gave me a copy of her album and I love the hell out of it.

Well, with the economy, my job, bills, lack of friends who are around here or anyone to date...it's pretty hard to be happy. At least there's Zara.

Thank you, Tim. That really means a lot. You have been very supportive and helpful for me and I thank you for that. I promise not to give up and I hope you will do the same.....there's still so much for us to do here.

I think we're in the same rut... :( I always seem depressed from Nov through Feb too... It's been my most traumatic time of year since 2004... lol Sucks. I hate the holidays now. I'm sorry you have it rough during that time of year also. :( I totally agree with what you said above tho.

Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that it's got the best of you, too. I'm so sorry. I hope you're feeling better physically at least. I know you're going through a pretty stressful time with your mom there...I can't believe Ryan told her to "shut the fuck up"...I would've lost it, too. You're amazing to me, Lisa! Keeping everyone together while trying to keep the peace. I know it's not easy. I love you so much! I want to plan a trip soon to come see you!
