Dear LJ
I see you are having one of your regular attempts to drive off what remains of your users upgrades. I can tell, because when I click on my friends page link, I am treated to the unwelcome sight of a blue banner which clashes horribly with the rest of the colour scheme and informs me:
"You're using the old version of the Friends page"
Yes I am, LJ. Thank you for noticing
"switch to the new one"
No, I don't think so.
I realise you will nag me constantly with your banner-of-doom, which there is no way to get rid of, but you have chosen the wrong middle-aged woman to bully! Ask Gmail. Or Googlemail, as I (still) like to call it, which pleaded with me for several years: "...Googlemail is becoming Gmail in UK, wouldn't you like to change? Oh go on! Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on! Go on!", to no avail, before its discouraged little banner packed up its pixels and went elsewhere.
I realise, LJ, that you will no doubt foist your "improvment" on me at some point or other, whether I want it or not*, but I don't see any reason why I should make it easy for you!
