(no subject)
My kitty was very sick last week. She has a lump in her throat and didn't eat for over 4 days. =( She's eating now but the lump is still there. The vet sent a sample to MSU for testing but he's almost sure it's cancer. =( She's been sleeping on my bed when I'm not there and on me when I am. We're leaving for Boston tomorrow and I'm so excited but I'm afraid that something is going to go wrong with the trip or that something will happen with my kitty while I'm gone. She's lost so much weight, she's almost a silky black bag of bones. She's not even that old! =(
On a not so negative note: Boston is going to be great! We're staying with two art students who live downtown. A graphic design major and a metals major. Erica, the girl seems really nice. I can't wait to go thrifting and antiquing and sight seeing! This is Andy's and my first out of state trip together!!! There should be more this summer, hopefully.
When we get back we're only going to have a few days w/ Matty before he goes off on tour w/ Alucard. I'm going to miss that squirrelly little shit! Hell, I spend nearly as much time with him as with Andy. Whatever shall I do?! =) I hope he has an incredible time!
I miss my friends. It seems as though I've been seeing them so little lately. Kitty and I have talked several times for hours at a time. Shanta, Andy and I made vegan cupcakes. I haven't seen Ms. Erin in longer than I like.
However! As you can see, the shoot with Kayla went great! I shot Andy this week and Tony's band Mirai last night. The shots of Andy should come out quite nicely, I don't know how photogenic that beard is yet.. The band shoot was fun and went better than I expected. They're a fun bunch of kids. I just hope that I didn't make any huge errors that I can't fix digitally. I'm planning another shoot with Kayla and working up to one with Becky.
SPEAKING OF BEARD, it's going after we get back from Boston. It's going to be like dating a whole new man!!!
