a grave update
Jamie's mom passed away.
Some months ago she was diagnosed with cancer. She had an operation and looked to be getting a little better. Eventually she needed to be hospitalized because the cancer had spread to her bones. She went into the hospital, came out a week later, needed to go back within a few days. She had chemo when they found out the cancer had spread but the chemo did not work. She was to week to try for a second dose additionally when chemo does not work it is generally because the cancer is "chemo resistant" meaning a second dose is less likely to work than the first.
Three days after the last time she went to the hospital the doctor explained to her that she had maybe two weeks to live. They sent her home on Tuesday the 26th and on Sunday the 1st at about 6pm she passed away.
If anyone wants to call her they can, or not. She's had a pretty exhausting week so she's neutral on feedback at this time.
