Cameron had decided that having kids was both tiring and really bad for one's reputation. So he was going to try to keep Marybeth busy in his room for a little while. He had very little hope that it would last very long.

"Stop hitting me!" John said, nearly running down the hall. He stopped at Cam's room, knocked on the door and said, "Open up! Save me!"

Cameron quickly got up from the ground where he'd been sitting with Marybeth to open the door, expecting John to be in some sort of serious trouble.

"Dude, what's going on?"

"HI UNCLE JOHN!" Marybeth shouted, running over to hug him. And stopping when she noticed the little girl with him. "Who're you?"

"Umberta," she said, staring at Cam intently. "You could cut your hair. But don't grow it long. You'll look like a girl."

John was too busy shaking his head sadly.

"Yes, Umberta." She put her hands on her hips. "What's your name? Father Look Alike?"

"No, his name is Captain Cameron Mitchell of the United States Air Force and he is a pilot," Marybeth said proudly, not tripping over the long title once. "Stop making fun of my daddy or I'll kick you."

"Whoa," Cameron blinked. "Should you be allowed to have that?" he gave John another look, starting to realise why he needed saving.
