Right around the knees, in the form of a tiny child wrapping herself there.

"Daddy! I thought I was lost cause I couldn't find you or Mommy and where are we and how did we get here cause I don't 'member."

"Whoa," Cameron blinked and stared down at the kid that was currently attached to his legs.

"I think you've got the wrong guy, kiddo," he said, reaching down to pat her shoulder as he wasn't quite sure what the standard procedure was in this situation.

Marybeth started giggling. "Nuh uh!" she told him. "Unless you're pretending to be Uncle John again, but you know that makes Mommy and Aunt Aeryn mad."

That was... Cameron wasn't sure what it was. He looked down at the blond kid who seemed to know a little bit too much. "What's your name?" he asked. "Are you a student who just got shrunk?"

"Did you hit your head again?" Marybeth asked, tilting her head and peering at him. "You know my name."

Cameron wanted to argue, but he was kind of scared that if he did the girl would get upset and he had the feeling that would be really bad. "Uh yeah, I hit my head," he said lamely.

Marybeth sighed. "Mommy is gonna be mad," she informed him. "I'm Marybeth Lillian Mitchell. But you and Mommy usually call me Bethie."

Marybeth was his grandmother's name and this was kind of getting freaky. Cameron squatted down in front of Bethie, studying her for a moment. "What's your mommy's name?" he asked, even if the blond hair and blue eyes were a giveaway.

"Mommy," she replied. "But you like to tease her and call her silly names and then she hits your shoulder."

Cameron swallowed hard, trying not to freak too much as he tried to remember if he and Veronica hadn't been careful at any point during the weekend.

"How did you get here, Bethie?" he asked gently.

"Dunno," Marybeth said, dancing around her daddy in circles. "You and Mommy tucked me in last night and then I was in a park and there were a bunch of other kids there and I came to find you."

That sounded like your typical Fandom weirdness and Cameron wasn't sure if that was a good or a bad thing. He reached out, trying to catch Marybeth.

"Okay," he said. "We'll have to see about getting you home before your mommy started missing you."

Marybeth let him pick her up and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "It's okay, Daddy. If I'm with you, Mommy won't worry."

He was not freaking out, really. Just having trouble trying to breath, but that had nothing to do with having a kid. Nope not at all.

Cameron wrapped his arms around her as he stood up. He wasn't all too sure if Veronica would know that Marybeth was with him and he had no idea how to reach her. Until he suddenly wondered if maybe something had gone wrong with the portal and Veronica had been cut off for a while and then their kid...

He really needed to stop thinking.

"Daddy?" Marybeth said. "Can we go find breakfast?"

"Uh yeah..." Cameron said distractedly. "What do you like to eat?"
