Anders finally emerged from 227 around noon and paused on his way down the hallway to poke his head into Cameron's room.

"Heading out for the weekend, Mitchell?" he asked, stating the obvious.

[cameronmitchell]

"Yep," Cameron grinned up at Anders. He grabbed the coupons and looked through them to see if he could come up with another one. "Veronica and I are celebrating Valentine this weekend. How's it going?"

"Lucky you, Have fun, okay?" He'd forgotten about Valentine's. Anders shrugged and forced a smile. "It's going okay, I guess. Considering I didn't get kidnapped to hell and all. What's with the coupon-things?"

[cameronmitchell]

"I ran out of money to buy an actual gift so she's getting these instead," Cameron explained, giving himself a moment to process the whole kidnapping remark.

"Who got kidnapped? Is Bel back?" he asked, worried.

[cantgetnorelief]

"Aw, that's cool. Good idea. What are they good for?"

Anders shook his head. "No. Not that I know of. But he tried to nab me the other week, and it seems like he stopped trying because I didn't want to go. There was a whole thing that . . . well, I don't think he'll be coming back for anyone else, though."

[cameronmitchell]

"Good," Cameron said firmly, studying Anders for a moment. "As long as you're okay." He handed over the coupons for Anders to take a look.

"I'm fine," Anders promised, though his expression wasn't completely convincing as he looked through the coupons. "Wow, these are some good ones, but no boykissy? Aw. Where's your sense of adventure, Mitchell?" he teased. The joke was about as convincing as his expression.

"I think I like a different kind of adventures," he replied. He raised an eyebrow at Anders. Even if they didn't talk on a daily basis, it wasn't hard to see that something was up. "You sure you're okay?"

"No," Anders replied honestly, because he knew he wasn't really fooling Cam. "I will be, though, I swear."

He chewed on his lip and studied the coupons. "Got one good for doing her laundry?"

"Good and in the mean time if you need someone to just hang," he waved a hand, letting Anders fill in the rest.

"And that's a good idea," he said, picking up another sheet of paper to start on a coupon.

"Except for this weekend," Anders agreed with a brief chuckle. "Yeah, thanks, man. Bridge has had this big thing about not leaving me alone ever since it happened, but I don't want him to get sick of me being around all the time. 'sides, it's been a while."

He watched Cameron work on the new coupon and added, "I'm guessing it's a safe bet there won't be glitter involved here."

"I'm sure he doesn't feel it that way," Cameron assured him. "And it's always nice to have someone around."

He glanced at the coupon. "If I add glitter she's going to assume she's getting boykissy at some point. So no."

"Yeah, but I know he's got stuff he'd like to do without me hanging around, you know? I don't want to be a hassle." Anders shook his head. "What is it with her and boykissy, anyway?"

[cameronmitchell]

Cameron nodded in understanding. "I'm usually around and bored so you can always drop by," he said. "Just not this weekend and I work on Monday and Tuesday at the diner now. They've got a mean burger."

He shook his head at the boykissy question. "No clue, man, but I'm resisting the trend."

"Somebody has to," Anders told him. "Even if it's, you know, not all that bad."

"I'm just going to take your word for it," Cameron said. "I'm pretty happy with the kissing I do get."
