John waves a dismissive hand at Cam's apology. "Don't worry about it, I needed to get up anyway." He yawns and stretches. "I might be. Still haven't really made up my mind. You're serious about it then?"
"If you're game, if they don't like it at least we both get banned out... of the room until it disappears." He clears his throat and shifts his weight to his other foot.
John shifts a bit, thinking over a tattoo. "Yeah, banned out of the room. And there's no place to really hide it when you're...banned out of the room," John finishes lamely.
"He will be after my run. We could meet up in town? Dude, were you listening yesterday? I told you it's just a paste they put on the skin and it absorbs the colour of it." Cameron rolled his eyes.
John resists the urge to stick his tongue out at Cam. "I was probably daydreaming about something, dude. Sure, we can meet up. Give me a call when you're there and I'll come down? I need to get a shower and some food and call Aeryn, since I kind of didn't see her at all last night."
"New meeting?" John laughs to cover his unease. "No. I think I might kind of sort of just a little bit...need to resign. Or at least only be kept on in a consultant capacity," he says, just blurting it all out in a moment of honesty.
"Hey Cam," he says and blinks sleepily. "Just woke up. Come on in."
