It was some time in the afternoon when Cameron finally, finally made it back to his apartment. As much as he loved Narnia, there was the thought of running water and sport channels to look forward too. And cheeseburgers, man was he in the mood for a cheeseburger.
First thing on the list was food, right after getting changed out of the Narnian clothes (it was a good thing the portal had dumped him right around the corner of his aparmtnet) and shaving. He needed a haircut too and...
He stopped just inside the apartment, noticing the signs of life and where a few months ago he would have treated it with some trepidation, he now grinned. "Sam?"
