so I've been home from tour for a week or so now. ran out of money, gave up and came home. we are leaving again Friday. i have of course been completely broke while I've been home. haven't been able to enjoy my time off from work and touring because i have no gas in my car. practiced a few times. writing new songs which i like. pressure is on. dead lines will have to be met. i fucking hate being home and I'm pissed that i am here. I'd rather be broke and hungry in Nevada today than stuck in my house. actually wanted to go out and play baseball today but my car broke down leaving me stuck at burger king on 24 north while the engine cooled off. piece of shit. we've played two bad shows since we've been home in an attempt to make money but i don't think that happened. good thing band debt isn't real. you either keep being a band and pay it off or break up and it goes away. obviously we will choose the former but it just sucks holding a box of money which seems like a good amount of money then you buy $100 of gas (seriously) and barely feed 6 guys protein bars and water and suddenly that money's gone then you get three flat tires in one day and you're on a highway in Virginia with your trailer sweating while bugs crawl on you. fuck. still it beats being home by a long shot.
