I have a cruder idea of the term 'generator' than what I believe most of you are thinking of. I do not need to sacrifice the weapons. I could use one or two of the unused stoves and iceboxes, but the primary structures will be made of wood and stone.

With the materials I have available, I do not plan on powering a house. I am not considering thoughts of human comfort in the beta-phase of this plan. There are other things. Outbound radio signals. Battery production.

I need to dam the river. This will change its flow and the environment around it, but no one's complained yet. I'll do it first with wooden logs, but that won't last. The riverbed is made of mud, it will erode away too soon for support. But if we are quick, it will last long enough to build a mill. I can crush the stone for mortar and concrete.
