I just finished my Accounting Final. I hope I did well, but I'm not expecting much. We haven't covered Bank Statements yet and that's what the last 10 or so questions were about, but I think I guessed okay.
I also did my U.S. History homework last night, AT 11:45 PM and I LIKED it. I think I'll do my homework late at night all the time. Curling up in pajamas, with a single lamp on while the house is quiet with everyone sleeping made it SO MUCH EASIER for me to focus and do what I felt was an acceptable job on my history essays. Then I read a bit more of The Great Gatsby and slept like a baby.
I think I will always do my homework like this.
And after making that angsty entry and talking to Spencer, I decided to eat something after all (for you, Spencer) and make a damned marvelous cd. I made a pretty cover, a pretty inside cover AND a pretty back cover with the tracklist on it and am going to give it to Spencer this weekend.
I showed the cd to Nackos though, and she thought the picture of me kissing Spencer was D-SCUSTING (I hadn't meant for her to see that, I was mainly showing her the tracklist) -she wouldn't shut up about that fact that my mouth is open and you can barely see my tongue. Honestly, it's not a bad picture and she was just going on and on about it like a grossed out second-grader.
It started to hurt my feelings so I snatched the cd away and said scornfully "I'm glad to hear you think I have a tongue like a cow!" Then talked to Betsy, turned away. I think she felt bad after that though, because then she said kind of apologetically, "It really is a cute picture though.. It's just weird to think that you kiss people."
If I still wasn't embarrassed about her going on like that, I would have pointed out that I don't kiss people, I kiss Spencer.
So other than that little episode of shock by Ms. Nackos, I am very proud of the cd and can't wait to give it to Spencer. I planned out the tracklist carefully for once and other than it being on iTunes, I don't plan on recreating it for anyone to listen to except him. It's lovely. The theme is "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge (aww, how sappy!)
I love it.
I'm excited for Tuesday (this fine day) because Tuesday means M.A.P. directly after accounting, none of this English CRAP.
Speaking of M.A.P. we start a new unit today! I hate studying the muscular system (which, rrr, is an essential system to know if you draw people, like I do-) but I hate it! I hate it because it's hard! It's the hardest system we study, in my opinion. Glad it's over and done with, I'm quite satisfied.
However, the clay modeling of the muscles was good. So maybe it's not so hard for me and okay for it to be essential, because Ms. Hartman did say that for missing two days of preparation and practice, I made some fine models of upper body muscles for how late I was beginning.
I wonder what we're studying next.. The Nervous System? Digestive? The Endocrine System would be a fine unit to study next, but we might have already covered what we need to know about that in an earlier, general unit.
Wednesday is the Auto Maintenance State Final. Borrring, we reviewed it yesterday, and I swear it's all just naming tools and suspension parts. I'll be glad when this class is over, but I don't know what to think of CIS.
In the new term my schedule doesn't change at all except that CIS will replace Auto in 4th period, I hope new people will enter some of my unchanging classes to make them less mundane. Like math. I always finish the assigments she gives us before the period is even half over and reading is impossible in that gossip pit. I usually just review to make sure I've done everything right and then think about what homework I may have forgotten. I guess reading could strengthen my focusing skills though. Blah..
I still have 20 minutes left in this class. I love the latest Penny Arcade Comic, makes me think of Fi.
I'm going to end this now.
