I had a nice morning today. I drove out to Alki and had coffee at the Starbucks there along the water. I sat on a large wooden table facing the Puget Sound. I drank my coffee and read my book.
Later I took Max to the dog park. I think he likes the drive to the park more than the park itself. He spent most of his time capering under the bench or in shock for the other dogs trying to give him attention. Afterwards I went and got my haircut at the Gene Juarez Academy from Kassandra. She had a great personality and did a decent job on my hair. When I got home I watched some tv and ate cheese, drank wine and then had some chocolate.
Lara came down the stairs before bed. She looked beautiful. She was dressed in the knit green dress I picked out for her awhile back and some stockings. She told me about her day managing and dealing with her boss. I could sympathize with her and it felt good for her to talk to me like that. Then like always I was afraid to let her go back upstairs to bed. I don't know why I cling to everything, especially since I know I wont lose her. But I do love it when she talks to me...
