Here are some shots I'm fond of from the wedding I shot last Saturday. It was my first wedding...
Excuse the low quality. They aren't blurry like they look; I cropped them at 72 dpi for internet usage:
Here's a few from the ceremony... I did this lighting effect to almost all the photos... the ceremony, the reception, portraits and "formals". I wanted a dream-like feel to it, because she said that's what she liked about my other wedding photos... So here goes:
I can't tell you how much those fucking tiki torches got in the way. They were literally right up against the bride and groom. I'm currently trying to clone out the tiki torches from several photos. -_-
It was honestly a disaster. With no backup flash, in the middle of the reception my flash went out. Yeah. And the ceremony was a stand-up ceremony, so I had people all up in the aisle and crowding the 'altar'... The worst part is that they all thought they were photographers, and most of them would not get out of my way. I was confined to one spot the entire ceremony.
Not to mention, it gets better... for the formal shots on the beach, 8-10 of them stayed behind, to take photos right along side me, distracting my wedding party... I had about had it when they started DIRECTING my subjects. "Do this!" "Move to the left!"... I was fucking pissed.
