the nature of the job has changed
It has been rather like two months since last i updated. livejournal lost its charm when real life took over. now, real life has taken a break, to be replaced by boredom and plenty of time for livejournal.
so i'm home in maine for the summer. scooping icecream again. i begin the ice cream diet tonight at 5 pm. my boss tells me "the nature of the job has changed." he tells me this pretty much every time i speak to him about possibly having a job for the summer, which is often, because he does not remember what he has told me and so i must call him multiple times and even drive half and hour to stop into the creamery for ten minutes so he could tell me when to come back. the next morning, he called me to see if i could work a different day, but i told him i already had plans, which was not really a lie as anna had ducklings and it was imperitive that i visit them. anyway, the nature of the job has changed because now there is not just ice cream, there is PIZZA. glory be. i am not trained in the ways of the pizza! however will i cope? it may be a lost cause. especially since they seem to have neglected to provide me with job training. oh well. i'll manage.
it's so sunny today, again. we seemed to have bipassed over spring completely. perhaps i missed it while i was enjoy a southern mass. spring and lying in the dimple. once i came home, it immediately turned into october (without the pirate orgies, alas) and now we have gone to july. oh well, i'm okay with that. as long as there are beaches involved.
i watched The American President last night, and laughed when he said "that's sass. you're sassing me, right?" ohhhh wheaton.
