Welcome to Spring! Thanks as always to all of you who continue to support our dream of this crazy store. As usual we have lots of fun in store for you:
MAD TEA PARTY - Sunday, April 20, 5-7pm
** Today is the last day to reserve seats! **
Dust off your Alice in Wonderland costumes and Victorian attire! We're hosting a Mad Mad Tea Party! Suitable for ages 12 to Adult. Wear your best party frock. Prizes for the best costumes. Games, madness and tea! Please call or email by April 18 to reserve seats. Tickets are $8 (advance only).
FIRST FRIDAY FESTIVAL - Friday, May 2, 4-8pm
First Fridays are becoming extra fun!
+ Mendhi with Wendy starting at 6:00 pm.
+ Tarot Readings by Temple starting at 6:00 pm. Please call or email ahead for Tarot appointments.
+ Face painting for kids from 4-6pm.
+ Chair Massage by Stephanie Spor, $15 for 15 minutes
TAROT WITH TEMPLE - Every Friday 5-9pm
Because of the high demand for Tarot readings, Temple "White Owl" Richmond will be available for readings EVERY FRIDAY from 5-9pm (except April 18). Also May 4, 11 & 18 she will be teaching a beginning tarot workshop from 2-4pm
NOW OPEN LATE ON FRIDAYS
Starting in April, we will be open until 9pm on Fridays
HARRY POTTER RE-READERS CLUB
We meet twice a month to re-hash the books together section by section, talk about what they mean to us, compare the books to the movies, etc.
* Tues, Apr 22 6:45pm - Chamber of Secrets chapters 15 to the end
COSTUMED SKETCH NIGHT - Wednesday, April 30, 7-9pm
What happens when costumers and cosplayers get mixed in with art school? You get Costumed Sketch Night! If you're an artist, bring your drawing supplies and we'll supply costumed models. Cost is $3. This month's theme STEAMPUNK (think Victorian science fiction - clockworks, airships, etc.) Email our employee Leah (Leah-AT-willrad-DOT-com) for more information.
