Long Time No Post!
Last weekend we had snow, which was nice. Just in time for the Santa Claus parade too!.. not that I went to see it. I love the snow, it's so fluffy and beautiful (but the cold, not so much). Being born and raised in Canada my entire left, I remeber the ground being covered in snow by now. November is almost over and December begins this weekend. Apparently it's going to be over 10 degrees celcius in the beginning of next week. GLOBAL WARMING, WHAT ARE YOU DOING. I WANT MY SNOW.
Winter and Christmas just doesn't feel the same without snow. Hopefully it'll be a White Christmas this year.
In other news, I recently joined the K Project fandom. My boyfriend finally convinced me to watch the anime after several weeks of procrastination (apparently he also underestimated how hard I can fangirl over a series. Bad move). I don't watch anime much anymore, I prefer to read manga more since it doesn't include the dissappointment of when an anime deviates from the manga and ends terribly. I have to admit, the beginning of the first episode was really cheesy to me with all the engrish and plot development. But I gt over it quickly, the anime's saturated with all my favourite voice actors and bishounen. Can't forget about bishounen you can potentially ship together y/y? I blame tumblr for turning me into a SaruYata fangirl.
I feel like this series is a mash between NO.6 and DURARARA!! with the character's personalities and other connections I can make between he series such as: Colourless King = Dollars?, Shion and Nezumi similar(ish) to Shiro and Kuroh, the violent relationship Shizuo has with Izaya similar to Fushimi's and Yata's, AND THE CLEANER ROBOTS FROM NO.6 AND K "Show some respect!". Or mabe I'm just crazy, relating K to all the other animes I've watched most recently.
I CAN'T GET ITALY OUT OF MY HEAD WHEN SHIRO SPEAKS. NAMIKAWA DAISUKE, WHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!
I'll most likely not update this journal too often. I'm more active on my tumblr and deviantart.
