Dear chaosgenes,
I was so excited to get you as my remixee this year! It took me a while to decide where to start, as you have so many wonderful fics to choose from, but in the end I opted to draw something from your starred work, as I know you were particularly hoping for some art for that one. This scene especially stood out to me because of the delicious angst it created, so I hope you feel like I've done it justice here!

Summary: Arthur has waited for Naming Day all his life, but could not be more disappointed when he finds out who the Soul Stone names for him. It isn’t the prisoner he meets in the dungeons, but his heart aches for him anyway.
Merlin has never thought about soulmates until they come knocking at his door in Ealdor. Convinced that there’s something wrong with the Soul Stone, he travels to magic-banned Camelot to end its influence. He never thought that he would be enraptured by the crown prince who comes to interrogate him.
