Why is everything so difficult?
I bought the Jag, seemed like the smarter choice.
However....
Silvey Motors....AKA Austin Jaguar, closed their service shop 4 months ago. The dealership has been sold, the new service shop should open the end of May. Why does this matter you ask? Because the inspection sticker has expired, and due to some strange transmission thing with the 84-89 Jags, you can't do the normal 2 speed idle emissions test without special equipment. Equipment only Jaguar dealerships have.
