Well, considering we also get "I just don't ever want to lose you" from Arthur as well, I'm going to have to see how this plays out before I really don't like the above statement from Arthur. And, honestly, I can see him saying that at first. Pain and betrayal like he felt just doesn't disappear regardless of whether he still loves Gwen, which he does. I'm hoping the conversation goes something like this:

Arthur: Everything we had...blah, blah, blah.
Guinevere: You mean everything to me. I don't know why I did what I did, but you are the man I love. I've searched my heart, my soul for any reason that I did what I did, and do not understand. I can't trust myself. It's why I struggled to show myself to you even now. I will go, Arthur. I will leave Ealdor and you will not see me again. But, you must know I will always love you.
Arthur: No, I do not want you to go. I love you, I know that now more than ever. Without you by my side, none of this is important to me.
Guinevere: Arthur...
Arthur: I need you beside me. Trust will be regained. We will get through this. I just don't ever want to lose you."

Or something like that....

But it might be two completely different conversations too. Like he says one before they go to take back Camelot and then when he sees her in mortal danger (from Morgana), he realizes that he can't lose her and says the second line.

Who knows...this is all just my imagination running wild here....

This is true. My heart broke for him last episode. He's broken. He truly believes there is something wrong with him that everyone he's loved has betrayed him. We know that's not the truth, but he doesn't.

There will definitely be a turn around by the end, but until then... I weep for my OTP.

You know, I never thought about it like that until you said something, but now I think the reveal of Gwen being enchanted needs to be for both of them, not necessarily for their relationship (although it might help in the healing) but because they both feel that they cannot trust themselves. Gwen honestly thinks she betrayed the man she loves and has no idea why. And Arthur thinks that everyone he's loved has betrayed him therefore thinking something is wrong with him. They need to know the truth for themselves as individuals more than as a couple.

Yes, we will hold on to the hope that things will be good again for our couple because they will be. :)

If only we could get a scene that long...

But thank you, I just sometimes I have to come up with scenarios that will make it better. LOL. :)
