I agree.

The thing is this is Lancelot and Guinevere, and not some random princess, so people are not going to be thinking enchantment. These guys have history as Arthur knows. Plus when Arthur was enchanted with Vivian, did not Gwen believe the worst of him and get angry at him? They were not even in a relationship at that time and Gwen was pissed. Then we have 3.10 where everyone believes that Arthur and Gwen were enchanted to fall in love, but they themselves know that this is not true. So why would Arthur think of enchantment, when the most logical reason is before him, with Gwen herself saying she was overwhelmed by her feelings for Lancelot.

Secondly, Gwen was Queen in all but name. She was sitting in Uther's place during the tournament. She is going to become trusted with the affairs of the kingdom and the people. There are laws and rules. When she cheated on the King the day before their wedding she is in a way betraying the people and their trust. Which is why Elyan reacted the way he did, because he was disappointed in her. Elyan was showing support for Arthur, for Arthur's sense of betrayal and pain. I felt he was representative of the people. Yes, Gwen is his sister, but is he not allowed to express his anger at what she did? Because what she did was wrong.(I mean looking at it from their POV, without the enchantment)

I have no problem at all with the way Arthur reacted and Elyan reacted or Merlin reacted. Arthur needed to act not just as fiance, but as a King and that's what he did. What could Merlin have told her in that situation? It's better he kept his distance. Though Elyan could have showed up to help her pack.

I am sure Gwen will come back as a stronger woman and a stronger character due to her experiences and the facts will come back to light and everyone will know who is really responsible, Morgana and Agravaine. And Arthur and Gwen will reconcile. They are both the victims here.

Awesome points, you articulated my thoughts better than I could, especially with Elyan and Merlin. I really saw it when rewatching and looking at Elyan's expression; he wasn't disgusted or sneering, he was simply disappointed and from what I interpreted, saddened.

And Merlin was in a precarious position being the best friend of Arthur and a close friend of Gwen's. What does one do when you believe that one friend has hurt another? Who's side do you take? I think Merlin likely wanted to say something to Gwen, but what could he say that wouldn't have been too personal? What could he ask without prying into personal feelings that weren't his to examine? It was a hard, painful, awkward place, and really, I think he did all he could by simply being there to see her off, his face expressing what words couldn't at that moment.
