You can tell that he didn't have the happiest of childhoods. Great characterazation I feel so sorry for young Merlin. But don't worry he'll be somebody important someday and he'll be loved

We all know that he'll be loved and he'll be important.

I think he needed all that bad stuff to make him what he is today. He got his magic for a reason, but all that would mean nothing if he hadn't got a good heart to go with it.

Oh man, this is a great insight on Merlin's childhood; it really explains why Hunith sent him away. Wonderful job!

That's what I was thinking. She wanted him to go where no one looks at him funny. But this story would be interesting from Hunith's POV. I guess her position wasn't easier than Merlin's.
