After all, it is what marriage is about, at its most pinnacle point. Not the kinds of whispers kings and queens utter during the day of political necessities. But the kind they utter during the night, alone, under a volley of stars, outside with nature, a whispering of lips.

Oh my gosh, this is beautifully written. The imagery and lush language just jumps out at me like stars. Speaking of stars, I just love the way you use stars in this drabble. Everything is surreal and magical, the way the night is their refuge, the only time that they can be themselves and really love each other, whisper their vows and truths, anything.

Such a poignant piece, I don't even know how to describe how much I liked it. It's gorgeous <3
