Oh my. this is so well done. I'm so sad for Merlin because you've done such a nice job. *sniff*

Thank you! I didn't mean it to be sad. Well, bittersweet I guess. But I'm glad you like it. ♥

Oh, no worries. Any story with Freya/Merlin is bound to be sad I think. I tried writing a happy Freya/Merlin story and couldn't do it, as you know. If we are true to canon, it's doomed:( Definitely loved the images here. ♥

Oh my goodness... one of my favourite Merlin pairings done so well, written so poignantly and hitting the source of their tragedy and longing in just 100 words. From the "soft moans" to the "final sighs" and "slight creaks," you're writing is as evocotive and poetic as ever.

I love that you've captured the wistfullness and bittersweet nature of their love. But I also enjoy the bits and pieces of hope. That perhaps they'll love again in a different life, in a less cruel world. And that she's watching over him.

It's comforting, especially the final line, "quiet prayers whispered in the night."

I really love this. You really outdid yourself with this, darling :)
