Author's Notes: I think that there is one more story coming, especially since my muse seems to want to write it.
Arthur had regarded many as his friends, but he discovered that many of the men that he had befriended only became close to him because he was the King of Camelot.
However, there was one person in the entire kingdom that didn't seem to care about titles or that he was the Monarch of an entire realm and that was Merlin.
Everybody around him at the court or on the battlefield seemed to treat him the same way, they adored him, admired him but always hid themselves away from him. With Merlin, Arthur discovered that the young man was not afraid of showing off who he really was as a person and that was one thing he truly admired.
Arthur discovered that while a friend at court was only good to talk to once and awhile, that a real friend was the person to actually discuss matters close to the heart.
And Merlin was that person.
