“I don’t think there’s enough glitter on those Christmas cards you’re making,” Merlin commented as he sat down a mug of hot cocoa where Morgana worked.
Morgana frowned. “You don’t think so? I could always add more.” She reached for a jar of gold glitter.
“Wait! Don’t add more. I was just kidding. They look gorgeous the way they are,” Merlin said.
“Thanks love.”
“By the way, why did you decide to make our cards this year?”
“I thought it would be less expensive. I saw them on Pinterest and thought I could do it just as well. I realized after I bought all the supplies that it was actually more than what our usual box of cards cost.”
Merlin frowned. “Oh.”
“Yup, that’s exactly what I said.”
“Well, these are prettier and more heartfelt. Everyone will love them, I’m sure.”
“Thanks.”
“Now drink your hot cocoa before it gets cold.”
“Definitely.”
