Luck of the Draw
Merlin put a pack of playing cards on the table in front of Morgana.
“What is that for?” Morgana gave him a curious look.
“I thought we could play cards.” Merlin sat down across from her.
“For money?” Morgana picked up the cards. “You don't have any money.”
Merlin grinned. “You're right. I don't have any money. I thought we could play some strip poker.”
Morgana laughed. “Merlin, you're rubbish at poker.”
Merlin shrugged. “Then you'll get to see me naked.”
Morgana turned the deck over in her hands. She squinted at him. “The question is: do I want to see you naked?”
Merlin tried to look offended and was failing at it.
Morgana smirked at him as she opened the pack of cards and started to shuffle. “I suppose seeing you naked won't blind me or anything.”
“Morgana!”
Morgana shrugged and started to deal out the first hand. “No wild cards.”
“Okay. I'm not going to need any wild cards.” Merlin looked at his cards. He had a pair of twos.
Morgana picked her cards and saw that she had a full house. Aces and fives.
“Need any cards?” Morgana asked.
“Three.” Merlin slid three cards to the center of the table.
Morgana dealt him three cards. “So what do you have?”
Merlin laid his cards face up on the table. “I have a pair of twos.”
Morgana laid her cards face up on the table. “Full house. Lose the pants.”
Merlin gasped. “Hey wait a minute! Don't I get to choose what I take off?”
“Nope. The winner chooses the article of clothing.” Morgana pointed to his pants. “Lose the pants.”
Merlin stood up and took off his pants.
“Nice boxers. Pink is your color.” Morgana laughed.
Merlin sighed. “I was hoping for a different reaction when I took off my pants.”
Morgana raised an eyebrow. “You should have planned your wardrobe better.” She started laughing again.
Merlin picked up the cards and started to shuffle. “Let's just see how well you planned your wardrobe.”
Morgana winked at him.
