“So pure, so innocent,” Morgana replied, stroking the baby’s hair.
“Our lives are never going to be the same, are they?”
“No, they won’t.” She linked her free hand with Merlin’s.
“Let’s always remember this moment, especially when she’s raising hell as a teenager.”
“Good idea. But Elliana’s not ever going to be a hellion.”
Merlin smiled. “I so hope you’re right. Our perfect little Ellie.”
“Ellie. I like that.”
“Perfect. I love you, you know.”
