Storm Warning
Morgana looks out of her window.
It's an ordinary day in Camelot. Servants hurry across the courtyard. Peasants unload vegetables from their carts. Red-cloaked knights and guards in chainmail amble past, enjoying the sunshine, no emergency demanding their vigilance. Arthur crosses her field of vision. Merlin follows, stumbling under a load of armour.
Everything looks normal, peaceful, and calm. It's only inside her that turmoil rages. Something wild with teeth and claws is fighting to break free. It yearns to wreak havoc and destroy everything, everyone, all of them. One day she'll tire of restraining it.
One day soon.
