A Fight Before the Battle
"Lean on me."
"No."
"You can barely stand, dollophead."
"I'm fine. Don't be such a girl's blouse, Merlin."
"Your wound is nasty. There may be a bone fracture."
"It's not that bad."
"You'll need crutches to move around."
"My men mustn't think I'm weak."
"No one thinks that. They know your strength."
"Just get me some potions from Gaius to blunt the pain."
"No. If you're not careful now, you may never walk again."
"If Morgana wins this battle, I won't need my legs. She won't let me live."
"Arthur, be serious. We will be victorious, and Camelot needs a healthy ruler."
"I know. Ouch. Oww! Well, help me. Lend me a hand."
"Finally you see sense."
"I must get to the stables. I'll lead the battle from horseback."
"I don't think-"
"I'm never quitting my men. Stop nagging. After the battle I'll submit to as many remedies and as much treatment as Gaius can muster."
"You'll do as he says?"
"I promise."
"I hope his potions make you sleep for days, so I can get some much-needed rest."
"We'll sleep when we're dead, isn't that the saying? Come on now. Let's go - uhm."
"Let's limp, you mean?"
"Exactly."
