Morgana and Gwen were shopping at the mall. They passed a department store and Morgana paused and asked, “Do you think I should get a makeover?”
“Morgana, you’re already beautiful,” Gwen replied.
“Aww, thanks. But it’s Valentine’s Day and I want to look gorgeous for Merlin.”
“In that case, maybe I’ll get one too. Maybe I’ll knock Arthur’s socks off.”
They turned into the department store and found the makeup counter. Soon they were sitting in matching chairs having their faces cleansed. “Ooh, thank you,” Morgana told the woman. “This feels so nice.”
It took much longer than Morgana’s regular makeup routine, but she had to admit the results were so much better. “I look like a goddess.” She turned to Gwen. “I think you’re going to knock Arthur’s socks off.”
“Thanks!” Gwen replied.
As they left the store with new makeup products, Morgana mused, “I feel like this makeover could use something extra. How would you feel about a stop at Victoria’s Secret?”
“I like the way you’re thinking, Morgana.”
They stopped at Victoria’s Secret and purchased a few additional items. As they left the mall to go to their separate cars, Gwen said, “Good luck tonight, Morgana, though with what you have, you probably don’t need it.”
“The same to you, Gwen. Make my brother blush.”
“My pleasure.”
“Let’s hope so.” They both giggled.
Merlin was in the kitchen when Morgana arrived home. She set her bags gown in the bedroom and changed then poked her head into the kitchen. “Hey, love.”
Merlin looked over at her. “Hey there. Wow, new makeup?”
“Yeah, Gwen and I got makeovers while we were out. You like?”
“Definitely. You look even more gorgeous.”
“That’s not all we bought.” Morgana opened the door all the way and stepped fully into the kitchen.
Merlin’s eyes widened and his mouth fell open. “Wow, you look so . . . hot can’t even begin to describe it.”
“Can I tempt you to the bedroom for a little pre-dinner snack?”
“Do you even have to ask?” Soon Merlin’s mouth was on hers and dinner was long forgotten.
