It was good Merlin observed the day though he couldn't be with the Druids. Arthur was sweet. :)

This is lovely. In my headcanon, I put King Arthur's birthday to 21st December. Some druid circles call the Solstice Alban Arthan and... it's very symbolic for the sun on this day too, and Arthur is a sunshine prince.

Yes, I agree! I pondered whether to include Alban Arthan into the ficlet, but left it unspoken. Lovely that your thoughts went in that direction.
