Arthur puts down his briefcase and picks up Merlin’s scarf which he’d obviously taken off and dropped on the floor rather than hang it up. “Slob,” he says with a smile, draping it over a coat hook.
He loosens his tie as he kicks his boyfriend’s trainers under the table before he trips over them like he’s done dozens of times before. Arthur knows he’s got it bad when this doesn’t bother him at all.
There’s clattering and wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen so he heads in that direction to see what delicious things Merlin’s putting together for dinner.
