Had a very interesting Science Bowl practice today, especially since our competition is on Saturday and i really, really, really hope we're ready for it. However, it was also interesting because of the usual strange questions that pop up in the "official national competition" questions we use to practice. I've never been to nationals with Science Bowl, but some of the questions are pretty screwed up. Just as i finished drawing a rather nice dragon on the paper i purportedly had to write down necessary information to answer the questions (good behavior for someone who's supposed to be the Team Captain, isn't it?), there was one about salamanders being the only amphibians with tails, so i found it necessary to ponder some truths about dragons. I hope you all fully appreciate the, um, instructiveness of the scanned part of my paper included below.
