Congratulations to the Hufflepuff team, seems we did well, though it was unfortunate that it got a little brutal. I think I might drop off some sweets to the Hospital Wing to lift some spirits.
Looks like I'll be going home for the holidays for sure. My parent's letter arrived today, and my dad plans to meet me on the platform. Guess that's quite nice, considering he's usually so busy.
Fourteen huh? Nearly the same age as he was when I last saw him.
Guess it's silly of me to hope for a paper flower to magically appear. Well, I've gone five years without, another can't hurt.
[OOC: Some thoughts of her birthday and her brother making her a bit sad, but she'll keep it under wraps.]
Okay, as some of you are aware, Tsubaki's birthday is on the 14th of April, exactly two weeks away. Being the silly girl that she is and not wanting to make a fuss, she won't have said anything about it. However, her parents on the other hand might not be so quiet.
You see, while she'll be back at school on her birthday, during the holiday weekend she will be at her parents house in Kensington, and her mum and dad will want to celebrate her birthday early while she's home with a little party. However, they know she's getting to an age where it's more fun being with friends, so, they will be sending out invites in creme envelopes via owls which will arrive in the morning post today. The gist of it will be her mother asking if any of the people she knows at school would like to come to the house for the party. They can arrive that afternoon and enjoy themselves, and then either go home, or stay over at the house for the night. The train back to Hogwarts would be the next day, so the offer is up that whoever sleeps over will be taken to Kings Cross Station the next day. Since Mr Nakatsukasa works for the Ministry, he is able to aquire a car to drive everyone and their luggage there that morning. (He works on the Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee so he is used to having to blend in with technology and such.)
Basically speaking, if you look in her profile and you are listed there, she will have mentioned your character one or twice at least in her letters home, and her mother would have picked the names out to send the invitations to. Even if you don't know her too well, she would have been nice enough to put names into her letters regardless, so her mum would just asuume, since your character knows her (obviously asking it be kept a surprise from Tsubaki until the day, so feel free to discuss it privately and hide your letters from her. ^^). So, if you are there, you can RSVP OOC here, so I know who to expect and who not to. I understands everyone might have plans of their own, so feel free to decline if you like, it's just an option I thought might be fun. ^^~
