Runes: Eihwaz

It's been a while since I had a serious look at runes. I remember using them to help clarify my thoughts at the bitter disintegration of my first marriage. Chris was almost completely absent from my life, even though we still lived in the same house. I had feelings for his friend, Benny, who had helped me recognise that my marriage was crippled. Confused, discouraged, and feeling a little wild, i started throwing runes. Eihwaz came up a lot.


So i understood Eihwaz as "The Survivor." It represents defense, patience, protection, and magic. Now I am coming to see Eihwaz more as "The Archer" or maybe even "The Sniper."
