the beave
so i'm on cmu's bio station up on beaver island. we got here sunday and its been sweet since the car ride up. everyone taking the class is super sweet and we are all pretty outdoorsy, fun, and layed back. homework so far is a breeze and the rest of our time is spent swimming, playing volleyball, laying out, playing cards, walking, running, and sharing stories.
the only bad news is that the prof hasn't improved from this last semester as far as engaging lectures and keeping me awake in class...the only great thing about lecture this morning was the super hot chocolate spill he had down the front of his shirt that i had a hard time not cracking up about during the duration of the period.
i'm glad all the people up here are so fun, its helping me not miss nate as much. three weeks away!!! what was i thinking!!! it will be good for us though...lots of catch up cuddling will be in order when i return.
