He just looked as though he was having so much fun when he was performing; seeing that probably planted the seed of my eventual forays into acting. Of course, he can also therefore be blamed for the grotesque lack of subtlety which colored my first several years' worth of performances. (I guess typecasting didn't help with that either.)
Jim Carrey was a horrible Riddler, by the way. Just awful. (If it's even meaningful to credit him with playing the Riddler, since, really, he was just doing the same damn stupid Jim Carrey crap he always does...he just happened to be dressed all in green as he was doing it.) "Batman and Robin" seems to be universally reviled, but "Batman Forever" was bad in all the same ways, right down to the nipples on the suit.
