Financial Troubles, Help Needed
So as you've been reading [maybe] I'm sure you know that my cat Dan-Danhttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/2189536 was very ill recently. Short summary, he began to not eat or drink, was running a fever and was basically starving to death no matter how much I gave him food and water by force. Of course I brought him to the vet and he was diagnosed with pancreaitis. He was sent home after that visit with antibiotics and appetite stimulant medicine.
That visit cost my mum and I $371.50. The day after the visit after I had given him his medicine twice he was showing no improvement. I called the vet and they recommended me to bring him down, so I rushed down and he was hospitalized and put on IV fluids and medicine. I called the following day very early next morning to hear he was doing much better. I asked if he was being watched over at night and the vet proceeded to tell me he would be alone for 8 hours. So I decided to take him home with me to see if he would come around and eat. The stay cost my mum and I about 750.00. I helped pay for each time he was seen about $50.00 and my mum paid they rest. Dan-Dan is now doing much better, he is eating and drinking on his own free will and acting like his normal self just a little tired.
So this comes to what I am asking help for,
I am currently jobless since Wal-Mart hired me on as a temp seasonal employee. I am applying to jobs around here but it seems no one wants to hire someone that has a limited schedule [I'm in college and I only have Thursdays, Saturday and Sunday free] and can only work part time. I'm trying here so please don't look at me like I'm trying to mooch. I could really use some financial help, my small supply of money I have is going down fast due to the recent expenses [which were ENTIRELY worth it I love my cat like nothing else, he is like my little kid] travel money [gas], school supplys [books, notebooks, calculator] and other expenses. I'm not going to pull a Seux on you and blow all my money on pot and action figures ok. I have a small way of getting a little money after talking with my mum. I agreed to take Thursdays and housekeep for her [clean, organize the house etc.] which I can do easily since I'm the one who cleans around here anyway.
But it would be GREATLY appreciated if I could get just a small amount of help. I need to start saving once again for an apartment in the future. I plan to go to Edinboro once I finish this year at Westmoreland and I would like to have enough money to live comfortably in an apartment in Erie with my cat.
