Today I threw together a flatbread sandwich by trying to use similar ingredients that The Pita Pit down in Morgantown does and made a totally new delicious sandwich <3
Here is how I made it:
1 half of Naan Bread [flat indian bread]
Two Tablespoons of Garlic Hummus
1 veggie patties sliced
1 half a shallot onion sliced
Peices of Romaine Lettuce [whatever/however much you want]
1 tablespoon of Feta Cheese [crumbled]
Dressing:
2 tablespoons of sour cream
1 tablespoon of teryaki sauce
First lay down the Naan Bread flat on a plate, then spread on the hummus as thick or thin as you please.
Next place the Veggie Pattie in the microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds. Remove it from the microwave and slice it then place it on the naan bread. Next slice the shallot and place it on the bread. Then place as much lettuce as you want over the bread. Then sprinkle the feta over the bread.
For the sauce mix the saour cream with the teryaki then drizzle over the bread. Then fold the bread and enjoy :3
Next time I want to add cucumbers and avacado since I was out of it :/
