Who waits to see the melting of the snow.

Who waits to see the melting of the snow
May welcome kingdom come with baited breath.
Who seeks out truth can never truly know.
Who keeps his life will live in fear of death.

So talk of brooms that sweep out colored skies,
And talk of days relentless in their speed.
And call the wise all fools and all fools wise,
Or go from here and seek all that you need.

He was the catalyst; thorn in your side.
Last night, in rasping tones, you struggled free
And come tomorrow, when the pain subsides
Perhaps you can explain it all to me.

But all you do is hum a quiet song.
The world, inverted, will spin madly on.
