Doing posts to Live Journal
Still-to anyone who does read this-I’m open to thoughts, questions, opinions and suggestions from other people. I’m always up to a good discussion, or considering the other side of the equation. You may not change my mind-but then again you may. At least we can agree to disagree.
You’ll notice, as well, that I may put a lot of “escape clauses” in my writing (can’t think of the word I really want to use right this second). Please don’t read this as an indication that I will flip-flop easily. But I do reserve the right to change my mind or alter my opinion as I gain additional knowledge or evidence. I guess it may be the Gemini in me-but my mind is rarely fixed on only one idea or solution. I relish the exchange of ideas, thoughts and opinions. You’re welcome to have your opinion-but I may try to explain why mine differs. And you never know-you may be able to convince me to see your point of view. Although I’ve been one of the few Democrats amongst a sea of Republicans at Texas A&M-so if I can survive here with my philosophies intact I can probably hold my own anywhere.
That being said-I’m also capable of having discussions without getting too hot under the collar about someone else’s opinions-and I’m even willing to let Republicans stay Republicans. Heck-I’ll even consider dating them as long as they don’t try to force me to their side of the aisle. We all have our own opinions and it can be fun to exchange ideas. Even if I don’t believe the same as you.
Ok-I’ve kinda laid out a bit about me. Coming soon-general thoughts, opinions, observations and musings of a 40-something bear trying to make his way in the world-and hopefully leaving it a better place in the end!
