Yay! I'm done!
It's kind of bittersweet. I'm glad all of the work is over, but I'll miss it. I reccommed it to anyone who is doing a language. It was a very fun experience. Granted, I hated a lot of the work and some of the people, but as a whole I loved it. Being with the same teachers and the smae students for 2-4 hours a day everyday for an entire quarter really creates some bonds between the people around you. To top it all off, we went to a cool Japanese restaraunt and had a lot of fun. But as it goes with all really fun things I do, I feel bad when it's all over. I feel bored (as if nothing can entertain me, because of the previous day) and lonely. I can't see Liz to cheer myself up. Nor can I see anyone else, they're all gone either for the weekend or for the summer as a whole.
I'm excited for fall though. I'm thinking about taking 22 credits. I am gonig to take the 3 classes I had already planned to take, (Japanese 311, Japanese Literature in English 321 and Modern Japanese Per-War History 423) but I want to also take another usefull class (Japanese Business and Technology 482.) 20 credits and Marching Band will be tough no doubt. I personally thinks it's a gamble, but the class is very worht it. It will help me get a job out of college and help me enter a MBA program later on. Liz thinks it would be overwhelming, but she over works herself all the time... I would like everyone's opinions on this. I'm still on the fence and some outside opinions might be able to convince me either way.
Marching Band will be fun this year. This year will be my last though. If all goes right I will be in Japan the fall after this one. And if not I will still not do Marching Band. I'm past the "College Experience" phase and I'm entering the "Planning for afterward phase." I should be getting a job and working like a normal adult by then.
This next year will be fun. I can't wait. There will be some fun stuff coming up.
PS: I hate having to rewrite entries because the computer freezes...
