Getting ready for bed, but had to update
THE CONCERT WAS FREAKING SWEET!!!!!!!
Of course, we went away with ears ringing because Motley Crue found the 11th level on their amps (if you haven't seen Spinal Tap, you do not understand that joke, and should thus be pimp slapped :) ). Needless to say, it was loud. The pyrotechnics were absolutely amazing....lots of fire, sparks, rockets, you name it....
They played an awesome set of new and old, and slowed it down for a few power ballads in their. The crowd was obviously loving it, and was a different mix than we had seen at any of our previous concerts (bon jovi and motley have a much different drawing). Didn't get a shirt, who wants to pay 40 fuckin bucks for a damn t-shirt. Will say that the f bomb is prolly Vince Neil's favorite word, and he used it to a point that even had me asking "why"....know that is a lot.
Many funny things, including the fat vince neil look a like, the midgets on stage, the guy going around and selling weed, the fact that the EJ Nutter center is by far the shittiest arena I have ever been to and prolly couldn't hold a small town catholic bingo event, tommy lee's amazing drumming, mick mars playing two guitars at once, nikki syxx telling to girls that they sucked because they didn't flash him on the titty cam, the titty cam....
So basically to sum it up.....rednecks, white trash, hardcore fans, rock fans, general fans, drunks, stoners, sleaze balls, hooker look a likes, music so loud your ears hurt, amazing pyrotechnics, classic songs, new songs, and still buying something overpriced
Sounds like a Motley Crue concert, and that sounds fun :)
